Video: Lebanese soldier forces woman to kiss wife's foot, gets arrested

A Lebanese soldier was arrested after a video emerged of an impoverished woman kissing his wife’s foot, following a dispute between the two women.

The soldier had forced the woman into the demeaning act, while his wife filmed it and shared it on social media.

Social media users were utterly shocked by the “humiliating” video, and demanded that Lebanese authorities take action.

And they did.

A statement released by the Lebanese Army on Twitter read: “After a video circulated online of a woman being forced into kissing a soldier’s wife’s foot, the Lebanese Army has detained the concerned soldier and will take the necessary disciplinary measures against him.”
