Falah Omoush was appointed Minister of Public Works and Housing as part of the Cabinet reshuffle decision on October 11, 2018 .

Omoush has a BSc in Civil Engineering from Peshawar University, Pakistan and is PMP (project manager professional) certified. He currently is pursuing his MA degree at the University of Liverpool’s online classroom. In the past, he served as Undersecretary of Greater Amman Municipality (GAM) from 1984-2006, and is a former Mayor of Zarqa, for twelve years, from 1981-2013.

Omoush was awarded three times by Royal Decree; Royal Independence Decoration First Category, Royal Planet Decoration Second Category, and Royal Independence Decoration Third Category.
