Jordanian Ministry of Health has made all necessary arrangements in order to provide the usual health services to the public throughout the Eid holiday, official spokesman for the Ministry, Hatem Al Azrai, stated on Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Minister of Health, Mahmoud Sheyyab, supervised developing a structural strategy that administers operating hours and shifts rotation of all medical centers throughout the Kingdom to ensure that all health directorates are scheduled to have a sufficient number of operating centers which will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on daily basis.

A Crisis Unit, accessible 24/7, has been established to assist the public through its 0797485846 hotline. The Unit will ensure that emergency cases are connected with their nearest medical service provider and that emergency rooms and ambulance teams are accordingly involved and ready when needed.

Azrai added that the plan focuses on the readiness of emergency units and ambulances: having an adequate amount of medicines, medical and non-medical supplies, as well as energy generators for backup.
