Dozens of lawyers protested in the Jordanian Palace of Justice today along with a number of MPs, against Donald Trump’s announcement of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

The Jordanian Lawyers Association has asked Lawyers to suspend pleading at all courts in the Kingdom on Sunday starting from 11:00 am till 12:00 pm.

For the fifth day in a row, Jordanians continue to organize protests and gatherings against Trump’s announcement and his order to move the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

King Abdullah condemned the decision earlier and told Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, on Wednesday night that "Trump's declaration of Jerusalem as Israeli capital and moving the US embassy to the holy city will have serious and dangerous repercussions on the safety and stability of the region.
