The Zarqa Governorate Awqaf Directorate has begun holding advanced English and IT courses for distinguished imams, including training on reading, writing and speaking.

Mohammed Fayez, head of the directorate, said that the courses will last for six months at the department's training center.

Meanwhile, the directorate started holding specialized IT courses for preachers, in order to grant them ICDL certificates, Fayez added.

He said the goal behind these courses is to develop imams and preachers.

The governorate provides a well equipped training center, where many courses in different subjects are held.
