Emirati Paralympic Athlete Abdallah Hayayi (36 years) died after a metal pole fell on him during training in preparation for the World Para Athletics Championships. The event, in which people with disabilities compete in Olympic-style games, is set to kick off in London next Friday.
London Met Police said in a statement that London police and air ambulances were brought onto the scene Tuesday night after it was reported that a man was gravely injured in Newham.
