A traffic accident between two vehicles in the Al Jizah district in southern Amman left a pedestrian dead, according to a statement issued by the Civil Defense Directorate (CDD) on Sunday, January 5, 2020.

The statement explained that one of the cars veered off the road as a result of the collision and struck the woman.

Rescue and ambulance teams rushed to the scene of the accident and referred the body to a nearby public hospital.
