A young man sustained injuries and bruises across his body Monday following a motorcycle accident on the main road between Amman and Salt.

According to Roya's correspondent, civil defense and rescue teams rushed to the scene of the accident, providing first aid to the injured and transporting him to a nearby hospital.

The young man's injuries were described as moderate, suffering from bruises and fractures, with his overall condition described as 'stable.'

Security authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident to determine its causes and repercussions.

In a separate incident, the Public Security Directorate (PSD) announced that specialized civil defense teams in Zarqa succeeded in rescuing an individual trapped inside a fodder silo for several hours.

The PSD's spokesperson stated in a press release that the specialized civil defense teams in Zarqa received a report about a person falling inside a fodder silo in the Dhleil area of Zarqa while performing maintenance work.

The spokesperson explained that the significant efforts made by the specialized teams ensured the survival of the injured person, especially considering the silo's height of twenty meters and the presence of over two thousand tons of fodder.

The rescue operations for the individual continued for several consecutive hours, utilizing specialized equipment for such accidents, until he was safely freed.

It was confirmed that the ambulance teams worked on providing the necessary first aid to the injured person and transferred him to Zarqa Governmental Hospital, where his health condition was described as 'moderate.'
