Jordanian security forces carried out a raid in the city of Ramtha targeting individuals classified as outlaws, according to a Roya News correspondent.
The correspondent confirmed intermittent shots could be heard while security forces worked to cordon off key locations.
Government spokesperson and the Minister of Government Communication, Mohammad Momani, said that details of the operation will be announced by the relevant authorities once the raid concludes, he added.
