New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani addressed a deadly stabbing in Times Square, saying a woman carrying multiple knives stabbed two people on 7th Avenue. NYPD officers responded, using a Taser before opening fire. Mamdani said both victims and the alleged perpetrator were taken to Bellevue Hospital. One victim and the alleged perpetrator died, while the second victim remained hospitalized in stable condition.
