The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced that it targeted a US air base, which it said was the source of an air attack on an area near Bandar Abbas airport at dawn today.

It added in a statement that the operation was a “warning response,” stressing that any further attack would be met with a “more decisive response.”
