Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Kazakhstan for a three-day visit ahead of a Moscow-led economic forum and summit. 

During the trip, he is expected to take part in the Eurasian Economic Union meeting, hold talks with Kazakh officials, and discuss regional political issues including Armenia’s EU membership bid.
