Palestine’s President Mahmoud Abbas says he “wants and wants to preserve” the “treacherous” Oslo Accords.

“We want them and we want to preserve them... they are treasonous, but we want to preserve them,” Abbas says during the opening session of the Eighth General Conference of the Fatah Movement in Ramallah.

The Oslo Accords were a landmark agreement between the government of ‘Israel’ and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) brokered in secret in Norway, intended to create a framework for a peaceful resolution to the ‘Israeli’-Palestinian conflict.
