Palestinians mark 78th anniversary of Nakba with march in Ramallah Palestinians marched in Ramallah in the occupied West Bank to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the Nakba, marking the 1948 displacement of Palestinians during the creation of 'Israel'. 

The demonstration featured large Palestinian flags, banners, and speeches in Al-Manara Square, with participants also holding symbolic items such as keys representing the right of return.
