A German Navy minehunter, ‘Fulda’, has set sail from the Kiel-Wik naval base for the Mediterranean in preparation for a possible deployment in the Strait of Hormuz.

 The vessel, with a crew of up to 45 personnel, will be at sea for around two weeks.
