‘Israeli’ soldiers arrested five Palestinian children while they were gathering wild plants near the settlement of Havat Maon in the Masafer Yatta area, south of Hebron, following incitement by settlers in the area, according to the organization B’Tselem.
The ‘Israeli’ human rights group said that the incident reflects an escalation in settler attacks and the military intervention that often follows.
It noted that such practices have become increasingly frequent in areas south of Hebron, particularly around Bedouin and agricultural communities.
