  • Iranian lawmaker Hosseinali Haji Deligani warns that any renewed US or 'Israeli' attack could trigger Iranian missile strikes reaching Europe.
  • He predicts oil prices could exceed $150 per barrel and describes the US naval blockade as an act of war.

An Iranian lawmaker has warned that any renewed US or 'Israeli' attack on Iran could trigger a large-scale response involving missiles capable of reaching Europe, according to Iran's Tasnim news agency.

Hosseinali Haji Deligani, a member of parliament representing Shahin Shahr, said the range of Iran's retaliatory missiles would extend to European territory, warning that such a confrontation could push oil prices above $150 per barrel.

"The range of the responding missiles will also encompass Europe, and this will lead to the oil price crossing the $150 threshold," he told Tasnim.

Haji Deligani said Iran's response would not be limited by the scale or geographical location of any potential attack.

He described the expected retaliation as "massive, multiplied and strategic," adding that it would be carried out "without regard to geographical considerations."

His remarks signal a warning that a renewed confrontation could extend beyond the immediate region, although he did not identify specific European targets or provide further details about the missiles' capabilities.

The Iranian lawmaker also described the US naval blockade of Iranian ports as "a form of war" against the country.

He warned that Iranian forces would respond by attacking US assets "at the appropriate moment."

The remarks come amid continued tensions between Washington and Tehran over the US naval blockade, the Strait of Hormuz and efforts to reach an agreement to end the conflict.

The statements represent the lawmaker's warnings and do not establish that Iran has decided to target European countries.
