  • The display took place at Chobani Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 4.
  • The demonstration follows previous Palestine solidarity displays by Fenerbahçe and other Turkish football supporters.

Turkish football club Fenerbahçe’s supporters raised Palestinian flags and displayed a banner reading “Free Palestine” during their team's match against Liverpool in Istanbul on Wednesday, Nov. 4, expressing solidarity with Palestinians amid ‘Israel's’ ongoing assault on Gaza and the West Bank.

The display took place at Chobani Stadium, where Fenerbahçe hosted the English side in a Champions League fixture.

The demonstration adds to a series of Palestine solidarity displays by Turkish football fans, who have used stadiums and major sporting events to draw attention to ‘Israel's’ assault on Gaza.

Fenerbahçe supporters previously displayed Palestinian flags and a banner reading “Stop the Genocide in Gaza! Free Palestine!” during a Champions League playoff match against Portugal's Benfica in Aug.  2025.

Similar demonstrations have also been staged by supporters of other Turkish clubs, including Galatasaray, reflecting the visibility of Palestine solidarity within Turkish football.
