  • Yemen’s government forces say they carried out 1,208 attacks targeting Houthi gatherings, movements and military vehicles.
  • The military spokesperson also claimed that 370 Houthi commanders and fighters were “neutralized” and nearly 120 vehicles destroyed on the Al-Jawf and Marib fronts.

Yemen’s government-aligned armed forces have claimed responsibility for 1,208 attacks against Houthi positions and assets, according to military spokesperson Majed Abdullah al-Nuzaili.

In a statement posted on social media, al-Nuzaili said the operations targeted Houthi gatherings, troop movements and vehicles, without specifying the timeframe covered by the figures.

Al-Nuzaili said government forces had engaged in several confrontations with Houthi fighters, claiming the clashes enabled them to seize positions along some front lines and repel attempts by the group to retake them.

He added that airstrikes had targeted Houthi gatherings and military assets.

On the Al-Jawf and Marib fronts, the spokesperson claimed that government forces had “neutralized” around 370 Houthi field commanders and fighters and destroyed nearly 120 vehicles.

The figures could not be independently verified. The Houthis had not immediately commented on the claims.
