Children’s educator and content creator Ms Rachel has announced Sunday plans to unfollow celebrities and political leaders who have not publicly spoken out about Gaza, urging her followers to do the same.

In a post shared on social media, Rachel Griffin Accurso, widely known as Ms Rachel, said she would spend the week unfollowing public figures who had remained silent about the situation in Gaza.

“This week I’ll be unfollowing every celebrity and leader who hasn’t spoken out about the genocide in Gaza,” she wrote, adding, “I hope you’ll do the same.”

The post was accompanied by a caption in which she criticized those who continued to remain silent despite the suffering of Palestinian children.

“I can’t support people who are silent at this point,” she said, pointing to children in Gaza who have lost limbs, family members and their childhoods, and questioning how public figures could witness such suffering without being moved to take action.

Ms Rachel has repeatedly used her platform to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, particularly its impact on children, and has called on influential figures to speak out and support Palestinians.
