  • Several artillery rounds struck agricultural land, with no reported injuries or material damage, according to SANA.
  • Earlier in the day, ‘Israeli’ forces raided a home in the village and arrested a resident before withdrawing toward Abu Madhara farm.
  • Syria has called for an ‘Israeli’ withdrawal from its territory and urged international action over repeated incursions.

‘Israeli’ forces shelled the western outskirts of Saida al-Golan village in southern Syria’s Quneitra countryside on Wednesday evening, firing several artillery rounds into agricultural land, Syria’s state-run SANA news agency reported.

The shelling caused no injuries or material damage, according to SANA’s correspondent in Quneitra.

The bombardment followed an earlier ‘Israeli’ incursion into the village on Wednesday morning, during which ‘Israeli’ forces searched a house and arrested a resident before withdrawing toward Abu Madhara farm, the agency reported.

‘Israeli’ forces have continued to carry out incursions into southern Syria, including raids on civilian homes, arrests, land clearing and artillery attacks, according to SANA.

Syria has repeatedly called for ‘Israeli’ forces to withdraw from its territory, arguing that ‘Israeli actions are illegal under international law. Damascus has also urged the international community to take action to secure a full Israeli withdrawal from southern Syria.

The incidents come amid continued tensions along the ‘Israeli’-Syrian frontier and disputes over the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement, which established arrangements separating ‘Israeli’ and Syrian military forces following the 1973 Arab-'Israel’ war.
