Operations at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport will resume tomorrow, Sunday, according to an official statement from the airport, after a prolonged closure caused by attacks carried out by the Iran-backed Houthis.
The airport announced that Terminal 1 will be designated for domestic flights and Terminal 2 for international flights operated by national carriers, effective from Sunday.
Passengers with confirmed bookings are advised to contact their airlines to verify the status of their reservations and flights before traveling to the airport, the statement, posted on X, noted.

The resumption follows a period of major disruption.
The airport was closed after a series of attacks claimed by Yemen’s Houthis in early October that killed more than a dozen people and injured hundreds.
It reopened under restricted conditions around October 18, with limited flights by Saudi carriers such as Saudia and flynas later resuming under prior-permission requirements.
Many international airlines have continued to suspend or cancel services.
The latest notice marks a further step in restoring scheduled operations at the facility, which serves as Riyadh’s primary international gateway.
