Boxing icon and former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson has announced his upcoming travel to Jordan on Oct. 30, 2026, to attend the "DF: UNCAGED" mixed martial arts championship.

Taking to his Instagram account, Tyson expressed enthusiasm about exploring Jordan, saying that he will be "visiting Petra, a historical place I always wanted to see in-person. Looking forward to visiting the people and Kingdom."

Supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Jordan Tourism Board (JTB), the showcase serves as the marquee event of Jordan MMA Week (Oct. 26–31).

The initiative will culminate in the electrifying "DF: UNCAGED" fight night on Friday, Oct. 30, taking center stage at the ancient Roman Theatre in downtown Amman.

The landmark event will pit top-tier Jordanian fighters against international contenders in front of a star-studded audience of global sports figures, cultural icons, and celebrities.
