  • Alleged targets included Aramco facilities in Yanbu and Shaybah, Riyadh and Abha airports, and Khamis Mushait Air Base.
  • The Houthis framed the strikes as retaliation for Saudi airstrikes, vowing continued deep-strike operations under a "blockade for a blockade" policy.

Yemen’s Houthi movement claimed on Monday, that it conducted six coordinated military operations utilizing a barrage of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones against key economic, civilian, and military infrastructure deep inside Saudi Arabia over the previous 48 hours.

Reading a statement from Sana'a, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree alleged that the strikes were executed in retaliation for more than 200 Saudi-led coalition airstrikes that the group claims targeted civilian sites in Sana'a and surrounding governorates.

According to Saree, the first operation targeted Saudi Aramco's facilities in Yanbu in two phases, where he claimed the strikes caused large fires at the site.

A second alleged strike targeted the Shaybah oil field in southeastern Saudi Arabia, which the group claimed resulted in an ignition at the facility.

The group further claimed that its forces executed a three-phase strike against King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, alongside a multi-pronged operation targeting Abha International Airport, Khamis Mushait Air Base, and radar installations at Jabal al-Hisn and Jabal al-Rahmah.

Saree claimed these strikes disrupted air traffic at Abha Airport and damaged assets at Khamis Mushait Air Base.

In addition to targeting energy and aviation hubs, Saree claimed that two separate strikes hit a Saudi naval task force camp.

Saree also alleged that there have been casualties among Saudi forces and destroyed a radar facility in Bir Askar.

Saudi authorities have not did not immediately respond to the allegations reported in the Houthi statement.

The military spokesperson threatened that the group would maintain its military campaign inside Saudi Arabia, maintaining a strategic stance of "a blockade for a blockade" and "an escalation for an escalation".

Saree warned that deep-penetration attacks against Saudi military and economic assets would continue until coalition airstrikes cease and naval and air restrictions on Houthi-controlled regions are removed.
