The spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces stated that military units have expanded offensive operations under Operation "Dawn of Yemen," conducting 1,164 strikes against Houthi positions over a 24-hour period.

Operation "Dawn of Yemen" is a major military offensive spearheaded by Yemeni pro-government forces aiming to reclaim territory and counter Houthi control across multiple strategic fronts in Yemen.

According to his statement, the operations utilized warplanes, uncrewed aerial vehicles, field artillery, rocket launchers, and snipers to target Houthi assembly areas, fortifications, and supply lines.

The spokesman said that assault forces secured new terrain in Taiz province under heavy air and artillery cover while maintaining pressure across Shabwa and coastal sectors near Bab al-Mandab to restrict Houthi movements.

The military statement claimed the strikes "neutralized" 558 Houthi personnel, including field commanders, and destroyed or damaged 135 military vehicles.

He also added that "the targeting was carried out against legitimate military targets, following verification and the adoption of necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian assets."
