In an official statement released on October 15, 2026, the committee reassured fans, participating teams and other stakeholders that organizational and operational preparations remain on track for the tournament, which is scheduled to run from January 7 to February 5, 2027.

The LOC said it continues to work closely with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and key international partners to prepare for the competition, which brings together national teams from across Asia.
