Palestinian journalist Ali al-Jaafrawi captured the terrifying moments in a video shared on social media, showing the efforts to reach the child and bring her to safety.

Describing the incident, al-Jaafrawi said the apartment was targeted in the early morning hours and that the girl was among the first people he encountered at the scene.

“She was among the flames, crying, and we couldn’t get inside to rescue her because of the intensity of the fire and smoke,” he said.

Al-Jaafrawi said he eventually managed to enter the apartment and pull the girl out.

“Praise be to God that she survived. May God heal her and grant her recovery,” he added.
