Flydubai and officials in the United Arab Emirates finished their investigation into the flydubai flight that was headed to Tel Aviv, according to Hebrew’s 13TV news agency, citing ‘Israeli’ officials.
Flydubai stated that all points of failure were identified and the company "fired a significant number" of employees who were in the breached circuits, 13TV said.
After the conclusion of the investigation, a request allegedly was submitted to Transportation Minister Miri Regev for flights to ‘Israel’ to be resumed.
‘Israel’ has also outlined a series of new security protocols for foreign travelers and international aviation.
Under the updated procedures, non-’Israelis’, including foreign passengers, pilots, and flight crew, must submit an online application 48 hours prior to arrival for review by the ‘Israeli’ Population Authority.
Additionally, the Mossad and Shin Bet will establish a list of designated "red" countries by Thursday and oversee visa application reviews.
The Shin Bet will also expand its mandate beyond ‘Israeli’ carriers to provide security guidance to foreign nations and international airlines.
