Consul General of ‘Israel’ in New York, Ofir Akunis invited New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani to watch the screening of a documentary film produced by ‘Israeli’ forces on the events of 7th of October.
Akunis wrote in his invitation to Mamdani: “I would like to invite you to join us for a screening of a 47-minute film produced by the Israel Defence Forces documenting the events of that terrible day through footage captured by the Hamas terrorists themselves on their GoPro cameras.”

The film “Bearing Witness to the October 7th Massacre,” is produced by the the ‘Israeli’ military Spokesperson's Unit, it is a 47-minute compilation of alleged unedited video footage from GoPro body cameras worn by Hamas, dashcams, CCTV, first responders, and phone footage documenting the events of the October 7, 2023.
He also alleged that the Mamdani’s stance on Palestine is the reason for the rise of “anti-semtism” in New York City.
He claimed that Mamdani will change his views once he sees “what really happened to our people on October 7,”
Adding that Mamdani will “truly understand why the Jewish State is so important and why we will continue to defend ourselves, no matter against whom, and no matter when.”
This invite comes after an interview on This Past Weekend podcast, hosted by comedian Theo Von.
Mamdani criticised Netanyahu labeling him as the “architect of a horrific genocide” and calling in the United States to enforce its arrest warrants.
