Three ‘Israeli’ police officers were injured Friday after being beaten by settlers at a settlement outpost near Jericho, according to ‘Israeli’ media reports.
The Ynet news site reported that one officer suffered a broken nose, another sustained a broken hand and a third suffered other injuries. A police vehicle was also damaged at the scene.
According to the report, some settlers shouted “You are Nazis” at the police officers during the confrontation.
National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir later arrived at the site. A police officer present at the scene told ‘Israeli’ media that Ben-Gvir reacted angrily toward the injured officers and did not acknowledge their injuries before leaving to address the settlers gathered there.
