More than 1,300 settlers stormed the courtyards of Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday, amid heavy ‘Israeli’ police protection, as restrictions on Palestinian worshippers entering the mosque were tightened.
The Islamic Waqf Department in Jerusalem said ‘Israeli’ forces tightened measures against worshippers while protecting settlers and allowing groups to perform religious rituals inside the mosque’s courtyards.
Former ‘Israeli’ Knesset member Moshe Feiglin was among those who took part in the incursions. He entered the Aqsa courtyards with settlers and performed Talmudic rituals while carrying the “Four Species.”
