Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters has criticized Ed Sheeran after reports that rapper Macklemore was removed as an opening act from Sheeran’s Loop tour.
In a video titled “Ed Who?” posted Tuesday night, Waters addressed Sheeran directly while standing in front of artwork depicting several people who advocate for Palestine.
“There’s two kinds of people in this world, Ed,” Waters said in the clip. “There’s people who do the right thing, that rapper Macklemore would be one of those people, and there’s people, many of them sadly little... p***ks like you who do the wrong thing.”

The remarks came amid controversy surrounding Macklemore’s removal from the tour following his public support for Palestinians and performances of his protest song “Hind’s Hall.”
Macklemore had performed the song during a concert at MetLife Stadium, where he also voiced support for Palestinians. Reports have said venue owners and promoters were involved in the decision to remove him from the tour.
Waters held Sheeran responsible, criticizing the singer for not taking a public stand over Macklemore’s removal. He ended the video by saying, “Goodbye.”
Neither Sheeran nor his representatives have publicly responded to Waters’ comments.
