According to Wafa, affected landowners face a highly restricted opportunity to challenge the order, with no more than 24 hours to submit objections following a field inspection scheduled by the ‘Israeli’ Coordination and Liaison Administration.
The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission said the use of military orders under the pretext of “security necessities” facilitates the construction of roads and military infrastructure that can enable further seizure of Palestinian land and colonial expansion in the area.
