Iranian Expediency Council member and former IRGC commander Mohsen Rezaei has warned the United States that Tehran will soon adopt a “new war strategy” in response to recent US attacks on Iran.
In a post on X on Wednesday, Rezaei addressed the US administration following attacks carried out by Washington against Iran on Tuesday.
Rezaei said the United States would not be able to escape what he described as the “hell” it had created for itself through its current approach.
“With these confusions, you will not be able to get out of the bottom of the hell you have created for yourselves,” Rezaei wrote.
He then warned that Iran’s next strategy would go beyond military operations.
“Very soon, you will see that the new strategy that Iran will implement on the battlefield, in diplomacy and in confronting the economic siege will shake your foundations and bring destruction upon you,” he said.
Rezaei’s remarks signal that Tehran is framing its response to the latest US attacks as a broader campaign involving military, diplomatic and economic measures.
His comments come as tensions between Iran and the United States continue to escalate, with both sides issuing threats and carrying out attacks amid the widening war.
