‘Israel’s’ National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir briefly shared an AI-generated video on X depicting Palestinian detainees in dehumanizing, concentration camp-style scenes before deleting it.

The clip shows groups of men in prison uniforms moving along conveyor belts into facilities, with thought bubbles of food and other basic desires, culminating in emaciated, distressed figures.

It carries the caption “We promised – we delivered,” referencing Ben-Gvir’s long-standing pledges to worsen conditions for Palestinian detainees.

The video emerged amid Ben-Gvir’s ongoing campaign to impose the “bare minimum” on Palestinian prisoners, including reduced access to basic needs, while he has also pushed for a death penalty law targeting them and publicized construction of gallows facilities.

Palestinian groups and rights advocates have condemned the imagery as celebrating suffering and collective punishment of detainees, many held under military administrative detention without charge.

Critics say the episode highlights the far-right minister’s open advocacy for policies that intensify hardship on Palestinian detainees at a time of heightened regional tensions and approaching ‘Israeli’ elections.
