A video circulating on social media shows a restaurant worker in Spain, saying she was sent home after declining to interpret for ‘Israeli’ customers.

The waitress in the video explains that a family of five from ‘Israel’ arrived, and a coworker asked her to translate into English.

“How? Israel? No, I don’t want to translate,” she says.

“I wasn’t disrespectful, I didn’t speak badly, I didn’t say anything. I just don’t want to know anything about that table, I don’t want to go near them, I don’t want to speak with them.”

She adds that minutes later, around 3:50–4:00 p.m., the manager told her: “grab your things and go home.”

“I have every right, if I don’t accept the genocide that is happening in Palestine, I’m not going to serve any Israeli who comes here to eat,” she says in the video.

No public response from the restaurant or independent confirmation of the incident was immediately available, and the video is circulating on social media but with no verification.
