Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised government officials for their efforts during what he described as the “imposed war in Ramadan,” saying their work marked “a golden chapter of resilience and service to the people.”

In a message to Ayatollah Javad Shahrestani, representative of Iraq’s Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani, Pezeshkian said Iranian officials had carried out their responsibilities “with faith in God and a sense of responsibility” during a difficult period.

“These valuable efforts will always remain in the historical memory of the dear people of this land,” Pezeshkian said, according to Iran’s Mehr news agency.

He praised officials for their commitment to serving the public during the war, describing their actions as an example of perseverance under pressure.

Pezeshkian’s remarks come as Iranian officials continue to highlight what they describe as national resilience during the war and its aftermath.
