Around 47% of the British public support banning or limiting migration from ‘Israel’, according to a new YouGov poll, placing ‘Israelis’ among the least favored migrant groups in the UK.

The poll found that 24% of respondents were undecided about whether migration from ‘Israel’ should be restricted, while another 24% said current levels should remain unchanged. Only 5% supported increasing migration from ‘Israel’.

Among the nationalities included in the poll, migrants from Egypt, India, Pakistan, and Nigeria were viewed more favorably by the British public than their ‘Israeli’ counterparts. Only migrants from Russia received less support.

Public attitudes toward ‘Israel’ have deteriorated sharply since the start of its aggression in Gaza in 2023, with the war contributing to growing criticism of ‘Israel’ in Britain and other countries.

According to 2026 data from Pew Research Center, a majority of people in three dozen countries hold unfavorable views of ‘Israel’.
