Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said relations between Iran and Iraq are currently at their strongest, highlighting growing cooperation across political, economic, and security sectors.
Speaking late Monday in the Iraqi city of Najaf, Araghchi said the relationship between Tehran and Baghdad has reached its highest level.
"Fortunately, our relations with the Iraqi government are currently at their best," he said, according to Iran's official IRNA news agency.
Araghchi said the recent visit of Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani to Tehran resulted in "very fruitful discussions."
