3/7/2026 18:44|Exiled Venezuela opposition leader and Nobel Peace Prize winner Maria Corina Machado said on Friday her return would help stabilize the country after twin earthquakes that have killed nearly 2,600 people.
"My presence brings stability; it would be part of the organizing forces that the country needs," she told reporters in a video call.
Earlier this week she accused Venezuela's government of preventing her return since she escaped the country in December.
