US President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have virtually signed an agreement aimed at ending the US blockade of Iranian ports, reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and launching 60 days of negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, according to a senior US official. The official said Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf signed the document on behalf of Tehran.

The full text of the agreement has not yet been released. Trump said the document is expected to be made public following an official signing ceremony. However, Washington and Tehran have offered differing accounts on several key provisions, particularly regarding the Strait of Hormuz. Iran has indicated it plans to impose certain fees on vessels using the waterway, while Trump said the strait would be fully reopened on Friday without tolls.

In his first public comments on the US-Iran agreement, 'Israeli' Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he and Trump “do not always see eye to eye.” Netanyahu also stated that 'Israel' does not intend to withdraw its forces from southern Lebanon, the Gaza Strip, or Syria.

VIDEO - Netanyahu says army will stay in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria “as long as necessary”

‘Israeli’ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that the ‘Israeli’ army will remain in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria "as long as necessary".

"We did it in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria, where, by the way, we destroyed all the weapons of Assad's army, which was a central link in the axis of evil," he says at a press conference.
