Comedian and actor Jerry Seinfeld ignited controversy following a brief exchange outside Madison Square Garden after Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Thursday.
As the longtime New York Knicks supporter exited the arena following his team's victory, influencer and streamer FinesseFave approached him with a microphone, repeatedly requesting that he say "Free Palestine." Seinfeld responded with a curt dismissal: "It doesn't exist," before laughing and walking away.
The video of the encounter quickly went viral on platforms including TikTok, sparking widespread debate and criticism online.

Critics accused Seinfeld of denying Palestinian identity and history, viewing the comment as dehumanizing amid the ongoing ‘Israeli’ assault on Gaza.
US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar publicly condemned Seinfeld's statement during a TMZ interview on Capitol Hill.
She described the comments as "disgusting," "disturbing," and "dangerous," arguing that they represent genocidal rhetoric intended to erase Palestinian existence.
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) also issued a strong rebuke, labeling Seinfeld's words as racist denial of Palestinian peoplehood and human rights.
This latest episode builds upon Seinfeld's history of outspoken positions. Earlier in 2025, he compared the "Free Palestine" movement to the Ku Klux Klan during a university appearance, equating it with antisemitism.
In May 2025, he similarly laughed off hecklers at a Knicks game who accused him of supporting "genocide" in Gaza.
