Jordan Football Association President Prince Ali bin Al Hussein attended Jordan's international friendly against Colombia on Monday as the national team continued preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Prince Ali shared a photo from the match on social media, writing: "Cheering with my dear friend Mohamed Hadid in our pre-WC match with Columbia."

Jordan suffered a 2-0 defeat to Colombia at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego in a key warm-up match ahead of the tournament.

The match provided head coach Jamal Sellami with an opportunity to assess his squad against high-level opposition as the Nashama finalize preparations for their first-ever World Cup appearance.

Following the game, Sellami expressed satisfaction with the technical benefits gained from the encounter, noting that Jordan faced a strong opponent and was able to test multiple tactical and technical aspects during the match.

The coach said the technical staff would work on addressing mistakes identified during the friendly to improve the team's performance ahead of the tournament. He also expressed relief that no players suffered injuries during the match.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to begin on June 11, with Jordan competing in Group J alongside Argentina, Algeria and Austria.

Jordan will open its campaign against Austria on June 17 at Santa Clara Stadium in San Francisco, before facing Algeria on June 23 at the same venue. The team will conclude the group stage against Argentina on June 28 in Dallas.
