“Tonight”: Iranian MP vows response against ‘Israeli’ strikes on Beirut

Ebrahim Rezaei, an Iranian Member of Parliament and spokesperson for the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, vowed a "decisive and painful" response to an ‘Israeli’ strike on Dahiyeh, Hezbollah’s stronghold in Beirut’s southern suburbs.

“We will deliver a decisive and painful response to the Zionist regime’s attack on Dahiyeh. These rabid dogs must be disciplined and put back in their place,” Rezaei said on X.

“Look at the sky over the occupied lands tonight,” in an apparent signal of imminent retaliation.

Iranian officials previously threatened that any attack on Beirut is a “red line” and claimed would be met with “all-out war”.
