US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) confirmed that American forces conducted a successful lethal kinetic strike against a vessel operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations in the Eastern Pacific on June 3.

Intelligence-driven operation

The high-stakes mission was launched at the direct order of SOUTHCOM commander Gen. Francis L. Donovan.

Operational execution was carried out by Joint Task Force Southern Spear after intelligence assets successfully tracked the target.

According to official military data, intelligence analysts confirmed that the vessel was transiting along known narco-trafficking routes and was actively engaged in narco-trafficking operations at the time of the engagement.

Casualties

The precision strike neutralized the threat on the water, resulting in the deaths of two male narco-terrorists who were operating the vessel.

US SOUTHCOM officials confirmed that the kinetic engagement was completed without any complications to American assets, noting that no US military forces were harmed during the entirety of the action.
