Low-cost flights return to Jordan from July 1, says tourism board

The Jordan Tourism Board announced Saturday the resumption of low-cost flights starting July 1, saying it is expected to play a key role in increasing the number of tourists arriving in the Kingdom, particularly from major European markets.

The board said it has intensified, in coordination with relevant authorities, its on-the-ground presence at all border crossings and key entry points across the Kingdom.

It added that Jordan's tourism sector has begun showing tangible signs of gradual recovery, supported by a package of government measures and intensive promotional campaigns.
