The Tbilisi City Tower has been illuminated in the colors of the Jordanian flag to mark the 80th anniversary of Jordan’s Independence Day.

The symbolic gesture was carried out by Georgia as a sign of respect and friendship with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, highlighting growing diplomatic ties between the two countries.

In a statement, the Embassy of Georgia in Amman extended congratulations to His Majesty King Abdullah II and the Jordanian people on the national occasion, wishing continued peace, prosperity and success.

The embassy also expressed hope for further strengthening bilateral relations between Georgia and Jordan.

The lighting of the landmark in red, white, green and black served as a visual tribute to the occasion, drawing attention to the cultural and diplomatic significance of the anniversary.
