A 22-year-old former 'Israeli' soldier killed in a road accident in Panama has been identified as Noa Yitzhak from Ma’ale Adumim.

Yitzhak died on Wednesday when a tourist minibus collided with the rear of a bus that had stopped to pick up and drop off passengers in La Chorrera, according to local reports.

Five other 'Israelis' travelling in the same minibus were injured and taken to hospital in Panama City. One was reported to be in serious condition, while the others sustained light injuries.

Yitzhak served as a fitness instructor in the Israeli Occupation Forces’ Golani Brigade 12th Battalion and was discharged in December 2023. Following her military service, she worked as a dance teacher and traveled across South America, including Argentina, Peru and Ecuador.

Emergency response group ZAKA said it is coordinating with authorities to repatriate her body and assist the injured 'Israelis' returning home.
