Jordanian air defenses down unidentified drone over Jerash governorate

• The Jordan Armed Forces on Wednesday morning announced that air defense systems had intercepted an unidentified drone after it breached the sovereign airspace of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

A military source said Royal Jordanian Air Force formations responded decisively to the incident and successfully shot down the unmanned aerial vehicle within the Bleyla area in Jerash Governorate, north of the kingdom.

According to the military statement, the incident resulted in no human casualties or injuries among residents in the area. The impact was limited to minor material damage at the crash site.
