Markazia Lexus successfully concluded ‘Lexus x Ikebana: The Art of Silent Expression’, a two-day cultural experience held on 10 and 11 May 2026 at the Markazia Lexus showroom in Amman.

Supported by the Embassy of Japan in Jordan and developed in partnership with The Luxury Network, the experience was attended by H.E. Ambassador Asari Hideki of Japan to Jordan, alongside distinguished VIP guests and Lexus customers – coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the Seiko Sogetsu Study Group in Jordan and the centennial of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana in Japan.

The first evening opened with the official unveiling of the Ikebana Seiko Sogetsu Study Group Exhibition – a curated showcase of Ikebana, the Japanese art of intentional floral arrangement. The evening unfolded through a traditional Japanese tea ceremony hosted by Master Sohaku and the Japanese Tea Group, and was punctuated by a commanding live Iaido Enbu performance by Eng. Hamed Qashash of the Jordan Kendo Federation – a display of the discipline and fluid precision that defines this centuries-old martial art.

The following evening commenced with a live Ikebana Sogetsu floral demonstration and workshop led by Randa Kawar and members of the Seiko Study Group. Kawar guided guests through the philosophy and intention behind each of her pieces, bringing the art of Sogetsu arrangement to life for many encountering Ikebana for the very first time.

“Lexus has always been shaped by Japanese craftsmanship and attention to detail – not only in the cars developed, but in the experiences offered. With ‘Lexus x Ikebana’, we wanted people to experience that spirit in a more personal and unexpected context. Seeing guests engage with Ikebana, the tea ceremony and Iaido within the Markazia Lexus showroom created a sense of calm, beauty and connection that deeply resonated with the Lexus identity. We are proud to continue creating spaces where true craftsmanship and cultural dialogue can be appreciated in new and memorable ways,” commented Markazia Group CEO, Nadim Haddad.
